Winterization

Don’t forget about the importance of winterizing your irrigation system and end up with a frozen geyser.  Replacing a damaged backflow preventer is costly.  Rainy Days’ offers a winterization service in preparation for freezing temperatures. We will turn off the water supply to your irrigation system, drain water from any components that are above ground, detach your backflow and drain water from the device so you can store over the winter months. We will remove water from the risers and seal off the risers so no debris gets in the system during the cold months. We begin winterization around the 3rd week in October. Please call us to schedule the shutdown of your irrigation system.
