Backflow Servicing

A backflow prevention device is used to protect public drinking water and private drinking water from being contaminated. This is typically due to any of the treatments or animal byproducts that are commonly found in a residence’s outdoor property. You will see this most commonly occurs where public and private water systems connect, but may also occur if a private well or municipal’s pipes lose pressure.

Because unprevented backflow can cause serious health problems, most municipalities require backflow prevention devices to be installed at any point of cross-connection. Most municipalities also require annual testing of these backflow preventers to ensure that they are functioning properly for the safety of the general public.

At Rainy Days, we have trained and certified backflow prevention device testers on staff to handle the annual testing. Our testers are also experienced in repair and replacement of any backflow prevention devices should the need arise. There’s no reason for you to worry about filing a report to your municipality. All you need to do is ask for our service, and we handle everything else.

If your device needs repair or replacement we will notify you and provide you with a cost estimate prior to the work being performed.
